What is Newsvetter?
Newsvetter is a seed stage Internet news vetting and news delivery service being developed by a group of individuals in PR, journalism and web services.
We start by identifying the needs of journalists, editors, and bloggers. Newsvetter establishes a quality-based standard for submitting story ideas to the news media by providing services for creating and evaluating news content.
Newsvetter enables news media to set and communicate the standard by which they receive information from corporate and agency public relations professionals.
How does Newsvetter work?
News media create public profiles and redirect corporate and agency PR professionals to submit story ideas after completing an online vetting process. The vetting process contains a list of key questions commonly asked by the news media when evaluating stories for publication. News media review the submissions, provide feedback in the form of ratings and comments and, if warranted, contact news presenters to discuss possible publication of their story ideas.
